Theatre Manager - Full Time

We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Theatre Manager to oversee the daily operations of our venue.
The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for the arts, ensuring that every guest has an exceptional experience. This role requires a blend of hospitality expertise, customer service acumen, and event management capabilities to create a vibrant atmosphere for patrons. Duties:
  • Oversee all theatre operations, ensuring smooth day-to-day functioning.
  1. Conducts building tours.
  2. Plans special events.
  3. Trains now hires.
  4. Changes marquee weekly.
  5. Plans and manages theatre camp.
Develops weekly movie reports and creates deposits.
  6. Prepares monthly reports to prepare for board meeting:
Conducts monthly PAL Ambassadors meetings.
  7. Menages the rental schedule for the building.
  8. Manages art gallery.
  • Manage staff schedules and shift assignments to maintain optimal coverage. Foster a positive team culture that encourages collaboration and high performance.
  • Supervise
and train team members in customer service best practices and operation procedures.
  • Handle cash transactions accurately and ensure proper cash handling protocols are followed
  • Coordinate events and performances, working closely with artists, vendors, and other stakeholders.
  • Prepare reports on operational performance, including attendance figures and customer
feedback.
  • Maintain a clean and welcoming environment for guests, addressing any issues promptly.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in hospitality or customer service roles; experience in theatre or events management is preferred.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to supervise and motivate a diverse team.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with proficiency in report writing.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with cash handling procedures and financial reporting.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by event schedules.
  • Knowledge of computers and job-related software and equipment. Skill in editing video.
  • Skill in interpersonal relations providing excellent service to clients.
  • Skill in oral and written communication.
  • Skill in supervision, motivating staff, and teaching.
  • Skill in unbridled creativity.
  • Skill in solving problems creatively.
  • Skill in maintaining equipment - AC, Drink Machine, Movie Equipment, Fire/Smoke Alarms, Security System, Ice Machines, etc.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Requires an Associate's degree plus three years of related experience.
  • or 5+ years' experience in a similar position.

Pay: $45,000.00 per year
